We meet in the morning or at your arrival in Dali. Visit of the old town in the afternoon.
Night à Dali.
Visit of Weishan old town and hike through the Taoist mountain of Weibaoshan.
Night in Dali.
Morning visit of the small village of Xizhou, its typical market and its traditional houses. Transport towards Shaxi and easy hike through the fieds and surrounding villages.
Night in Shaxi.
We leave this morning for an easy hike towards the temples of Shibaoshan. Hanging on the cliffs, these really old temples (the oldest was built during the 10th century) will bring a few surprises... In the end of the afternoon, transport to the region of Lijiang and the village of Baisha, a small authentic village which managed to stay out of mass tourism.

Visit in the morning of the old village of Shuhe and its museum of the ancient tea horse caravan Road. We leave before midday to the village of Qiaotou, located at the entrance of the Tiger Leaping gorge. We meet our muleteers in the early afternoon and start the ascent on the comfortable path until we reach the place called "Naxi family".

We keep hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge, and start our day by the ascent of the famous 28 bends, the steepest part. We are rewarded by magnificent views over the Gorges and the mountains from the highest point of the path. We end the walk in the early afternoon, meet our driver back and leave straight towards the Tibetan plateau and Benzilan, where we spend the night at an ecolodge run by a French lady living there for years.
Night in Benzilan.
Visit of Dongzhulin Tibetan monastery and Chusong nunnery. We leave from this last place for a short and very beautiful hike towards a sacred local waterfall.

We head back today towards the plateau of Shangri-La. This last day is dedicated to the visit of its old town, its lanes, its temples...
